Michael Caine, born March 14, 1933. This is from Deathtrap. Watch it if you haven’t seen it. But don’t look up too much about it; you’ll spoil the plot.
Rex Harrison in The Constant Husband. Apparently the making of this silly but pretty film is when he met lovely Kay Kendall, who became his wife for a brief period until she died of leukemia in 1959.
It’s Bill’s birthday. If he hadn’t died when he did, he’d surely be dead now. And I didn’t really discover him until the morning I read about his death in the newspaper, when I was 16, so that’s a thing.

One of my favorite scenes with one of my favorite leading ladies, Myrna Loy, born this day in 1905.
She was really wonderful. Born 89 years ago today, died from breast cancer 3 days after I was born, on June 7, 1965.
